Death of a Trusted Friend.
Dearly Beloved;

We gather here, to pay a regards to an old and dear friend, who has served his time on the planet well…

“MY COFFEE POT DIED!!!” **balls his eyes out**

My old BRAUN Coffee pot that I thought I was going to have to ‘will’ to one of my nephews died this morning after making one…last…pot. **final gasp** We have had this coffee pot…longer than I’ve been RPing, in fact, I purchased it 12 or 13 years ago. Unfortunately since the appropriate replacement is now about $100, I think I’ll be hobbling along without, or finding a cheaper option.

So…everyone pray that they put a BUNN brand on sale next month.

**sigh** This sucks giant sized donkey balls.

I'm so sorry for your loss. :P

I don't know about Bunn coffeemakers. I just put up a recall poster for them this past week. I forget what model, though.

Good to know...I want the one with the thermal carafe and no heating element, or similar that brews in a short time. I'll have to check Kohl’s out and see what brands types they carry. I'm looking for something without the bells and whistles, no timer, no grind and brew etc. It just has to make good coffee.

I'm sorry about your coffee maker.

It's too bad they don't sell them at WalMart, Target, Sears, Kmart, Home Depot, the Dollar General, or ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE house-related things are found. It's especially too bad you don't have a coffee shop near by that you could go to in your time of need. ;)

I'll keep you in my prayers.

Drat! Now I want to go back and edit that line, though hey I’m dirty minded enough think balling my eyes out could be fun. **evil grin**

And…while your perfectly correct, there are wonderful options. Still, one can’t help feeling some sense of loss for an appliance you’ve had since college that still – until this morning anyway – worked and made a really good cup of coffee. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll find some suitable substitute that will help me through the pain.
